Welcome to IMS Motorsport
The IMS Motorsport Team competes in the British GT Championships in the GT4 Series.
The Race Series is headlined by Formula 3 and GT cars; F3 being a sneak peek at the F1 driving legends to come, GT being the training ground for Le Mans. The cars we race against come from the most exotic manufacturers in the world, amongst them Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche and Dodge. Later in the year we can expect Maserati, BMW, Nissan and Ford to join the action.
The cars are race versions of road going two door closed sports cars, or Grand Touring (Gran Turismo) cars. They are in two classes; GT3 (the faster cars, with aero technology) and GT4, which more closely reflect the road version of the car.
Backed by Compliance Consultancy IMS Consulting Ltd and supported by the Richmond Racing crew the team hope to exceed expectations this year, and from the very outset we have proven our worth as strong contenders in this highly competitive racing scene.
With expert drivers and crew and the team’s astounding Ginetta G50 GT4, IMS Motorsport has already established itself as a serious challenger for the Championship in 2008.
